SOCIAL IMPACT

We host Mountain Spirit with a leave-a-positive-trace mindset — supporting people and place, not extracting from them. We work with local guides, drivers, cooks and accommodation partners, prioritising fair pay, trusted operators, and culturally respectful experiences. Our route is designed to spread spend locally (meals, logistics, excursions) while keeping the group footprint light. We also share practical guidance on responsible travel and can point guests towards carbon offsetting via Sustainable Travel International.

YOUR ITINERARY

A clear, adventurous flow that balances daily yoga + mindfulness with Nepal’s most iconic landscapes — Kathmandu temples, Pokhara trekking and lake life, and a Chitwan safari finale. It’s active, immersive, and deeply grounding, with all internal transfers handled so you can arrive, breathe, and be present.

  • Arrive in Kathmandu and meet the group. We’ll settle into our first accommodation, enjoy a grounding welcome practice, and share a relaxed first meal together. Expect gentle orientation, time to land after travel, and an early night if you need it.

  • Wake with a morning yoga session to reset your body clock. Today is for culture — exploring Kathmandu’s ancient temples and vibrant streets, with time for reflection and journalling. We end with an evening wind-down practice and dinner together.

  • After breakfast, we take a short internal flight to Pokhara (small planes, big views). We settle into our eco retreat setting and soak up the shift in pace — mountains, lake air, simplicity. Late afternoon yoga + meditation, then dinner.

  • A fuller adventure day. We’ll trek in the Pokhara region with guided support, moving through Himalayan foothills and along ridge paths with epic views. Yoga later in the day focuses on recovery: hips, legs, breath, and deep rest.

  • A steadier day to integrate. Morning yoga, then another guided hike or nature walk (route adjusted to group energy and conditions). Expect time to swim, read, journal, and simply take in the landscape. Evening meditation to close.

  • We travel from Pokhara to Chitwan and arrive at our safari region base. The landscape shifts from mountains to jungle. Gentle evening practice and an early night — tomorrow is for wildlife and big skies.

  • A standout day. We’ll explore Chitwan National Park with guided safari experiences — you may spot elephants, rhinos, crocodiles and more. Practices are simple and grounding: breathwork, mobility, and reflective journalling to help you process the experience.

  • We travel back to Kathmandu (with internal flight/transfer). Time for final exploring, souvenirs, or a calm café moment — your choice. We close with a final group practice and a sharing circle to integrate what you’re taking home.

  • Breakfast, goodbyes, and departures. We’ll support airport transfers at arranged times. Leave with a calmer nervous system, stronger body, and a set of memories that will stay with you for life.

ACCOMMODATION, TRAVEL AND MEALS

  • Expect simple, authentic Nepalese accommodation that keeps you close to the experience — warm, welcoming, and rooted in local character rather than luxury. You’ll begin in Kathmandu, before travelling to Pokhara where we stay in an eco retreat centre surrounded by mountain air and lake light. Your yoga space here is a true highlight: a shala with mountain and lake views across the Annapurna range.

From Pokhara, we continue to Chitwan for the safari portion of the trip, before returning to Kathmandu to close the journey. Accommodation across the route is chosen for comfort, cleanliness, and location — supporting rest, recovery, and a strong sense of place.

  • You’ll fly into Kathmandu, typically via at least one connection (flights from London aren’t direct). We recommend researching early to secure the best fares and flight times. Once you arrive, we’ll arrange an airport transfer at an agreed time so your trip starts smoothly.

This retreat includes all internal flights within Nepal — these are often on small planes — plus key transfers as we move between Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan. The itinerary is active and multi-location by design, so travel days are part of the adventure, not a hassle you need to manage alone.

  • All meals are included, designed to keep you energised, steady, and well-fuelled for trekking, travel, and practice. Each day typically includes a nutritious breakfast, a light lunch, and a wholesome dinner, plus teas and soft drinks throughout.

Food is primarily vegetarian / pescatarian, with plenty of fresh, local flavours. Vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free needs can be catered for — and if you have any additional dietary requirements, let us know when booking so we can plan properly from day one.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED

Flights, travel insurance, and any personal spending or optional extras outside the listed itinerary.
