MEET YOUR GUIDE
Jax (Jackie Heffer-Cooke) is a pragmatic yogi and the founder of Freedom Yoga & Retreats. With nearly two decades of teaching experience and a Master’s in Global Social Development, she blends traditional yogic practices with a grounded, modern lens that keeps yoga relevant to real life. Her teaching centres on the koshas — body, energy, mind, wisdom and connection — and is known for being warm, clear, and deeply supportive. Alongside yoga, Jax is trained in therapeutic massage and bodywork, mindfulness and stress management, and hypnobirthing. She also leads community wellbeing initiatives through Freedom Wellbeing Projects (CIC), widening access to yoga across Norfolk and beyond.

ACCOMMODATION, TRAVEL AND MEALS
■
-
You’ll spend five nights at Tamazirt by Amayour Surf & Yoga — a luxury mountain villa just outside Taghazout, with a pool and wide-open views across the Berber mountains. It’s peaceful, warm, and intentionally simple in the best way: space to breathe, reset, and feel held by nature.
All rooms are shared, and each one includes air con and heaters to keep you comfortable across cooler winter mornings and evenings. Between the rooftop shala, the pool, and the calm of the surrounding landscape, the villa becomes your home base for practice, rest, and connection.
-
You’ll fly into Agadir (around 4 hours from London). We’ll arrange airport transfers at an agreed time, so once you land, you can switch off and arrive properly.
You’re welcome to fly out earlier, stay later, or extend the trip with friends or family — the retreat runs on the dates stated, but your wider travel plans are completely yours. If you’d like support, we can recommend flight options and additional accommodation, plus lower-impact travel guidance via Sustainable Travel International.
-
All meals are included and designed to feel nourishing, local, and effortless — so you can focus on practice and presence.
Each day includes:
Seasonal brunch
A snack / cake of the day
A generous dinner
The menu is primarily vegetarian / pescatarian, using locally caught fish and homemade ingredients wherever possible. Vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options are available — and if you have any other dietary requirements, share them when booking so we can cater for you well from day one.
